Introducing a 2 hr live GROUP home birth session, for mums and birth partners.
My name is Justine l have been a midwife for 21 yrs and work in the Brighton, however, you can live anywhere in the UK to benefit from this session, as home birth is home birth and the whole of the UK works from the NICE Guidelines
As midwives we actively support and empower women to give birth at home, whether it’s your first, or fifth baby.
If you have had a healthy pregnancy, go for it! NEXT SESSION is Tuesday May 28th 2024 6.30-8.30 ** THIS SESSION WILL COVER THE POSSIBLE SITUATION OF HOME BIRTHS BEING SUSPENDED AT THE PRESENT TIME AND HOW TO PREPARE YOURSELF FOR EITHER.
I WILL SEND ALINK OUT TO EVERYONE A FEW DAYS BEFORE THE SESSION.
PLEASE BOOK IN BEFORE 5PM ON THE DAY OF THE SESSION, AS YOU WONT RECEIVE A LINK AFTER THIS TIME..
the suggested donation is £5-£8 to enable me to keep providing this service, £10 will supplement a free place for someone who needs it.

- You want a home birth, but your partner/mother is not keen and you would like them to feel reassured and to have more information.
- You have already had a home birth but feel you could do with a reminder
- Wondering what you might need.
- Want some top tips.
What the session covers
- Why choose a homebirth.
- When and how to book your homebirth.
- What you might need to get ready.
- What to expect on the day.
- When do you call the midwife.
- How long after the birth does the midwife stay.
- Why might we not be able to have a homebirth.
- Why might we be transferred into the hospital, during or after labour.
At each session l will invite one or two mums and their birth partners along who have recently given birth at home.
They will share their birth experiences and top tips.
There will be plenty of time to ask the couples, and myself any questions you may have.
